Amplify

A supplement a day keeps aging away. That’s what we like to think, although it’s a bit more complicated than that. Nevertheless, researchers are constantly finding new ways to combine all sorts of useful compounds in ways that could just give us the kind of health boost we need to improve our longevity. Amplify is one of the latest examples (https://longevity.technology/news/consumer-longevity-company-tally-launches-new-daily-supplement/).

Amplify is the latest offering from Tally Health, which already boasts the Vitality supplement under its brand. That’s two new products in less than a year, on top of Tally’s own unique aging clock – not bad for a company that only had its commercial launch in February 2023. Like Vitality, Amplify relies on a combination of different ingredients, each well-known in longevity circles and backed by scientific evidence.

In the case of Amplify, the three key ingredients are glycine, berberine and urolithin. Glycine is known for its ability to remove a harmful substance called methionine from our cells to help boost both our health and lifespan. Berberine can activate AMPK, a sensor that generally comes to life when our energy levels are low, therefore playing an essential role in our metabolism and blood sugar regulation. Urolithin contributes to something known as mitophagy, the process of removing dysfunctional mitochondria to improve mitochondrial efficiency, and it may also boost our NAD+ levels.

Tally didn’t just select these ingredients at random. They were chosen because of their strong performance in clinical trials, starting with animal models and peer-reviewed data. The research then continued with human participants, with randomized, double blind and placebo-controlled studies used to provide the highest quality of evidence. Tally has strict internal criteria to meet before it will release any product to the world.

The hope is that by combining these ingredients, consumers will find the amount of energy in their cells increased, harmful or dysfunctional substances that contribute to aging removed, and a general boost to metabolism. By ensuring that all these aspects of our body are functioning in the most efficient way, we could see an improvement to our everyday wellbeing, including our exercise performance, which could lead to even more health benefits.

Thanks to Tally’s subscription model, Amplify can be used to complement other Tally products, and it may be used alongside Vitality to provide the best possible boost to health and longevity.
