Amazfit Balance

There are so many smartwatches currently on the market, and with more being added all the time, it can seem impossible to choose which is the best. I’m here to try to talk you through the advantages and disadvantages of specific devices, in this case the Amazfit Balance by Zepp Health (https://longevity.technology/lifestyle/amazfit-balance-review-is-it-a-stand-out-in-the-crowded-smartwatch-market/).

So, what makes the Amazfit Balance distinct from all the other smartwatches? Well, the biggest selling point is Zepp CoachT. This cutting-edge piece of technology is like having your own personal trainer, but powered by AI. In case you’re wondering just how much personalization you can fit into one device, take a look at the 150 different templates and modes that you can customize.

Now, having 150 different sports modes isn’t going to be ideal for everyone. With so many functions and features, the Amazfit Balance may become a little confusing, especially if you’re not that tech-savvy. How do you pick the right one for you? Still, just having all that choice is a pretty big deal compared to many similar devices.

Other aspects of the Amazfit Balance design help make it more user friendly. For example, the screen is a reasonable size and the controls aren’t too difficult to navigate. The battery can last a full two weeks when you’re using it normally, which is pretty good. Then you have other helpful little features, like the ability to make contactless payments, Bluetooth phone calls, and the highly accurate GPS (compatible with 6 different satellite systems, more than any of the main competitors), although this does require clear skies to work at its best.

Most users so far seem to consider the Amazfit Balance an improvement over previous offerings from Zepp Health, such as the T-rex. There have been a few small criticisms, like occasional inaccuracies in the sleep monitoring function, and some limitations to how the heart rate tracker works (you can’t check it in smaller intervals than a minute), but overall, the response has been positive.

You may find other smartwatches with a longer battery life, aesthetics that are more to your taste, or with other extras that you appreciate a little more, but there’s no doubt that the Amazfit Balance’s customizable nature is one of its biggest selling points. It takes personalization to a whole new level thanks to its use of AI.
